- Saludo y nombre
- De dónde eres y dónde vives
- Trabajo o estudios
- Aficiones
- Cierre y pregunta a la otra persona
Frases para cada parte
1. Saludo y nombre
- Hi, I’m Lucía. (informal)
- Hello, my name is Javier Martínez. You can call me Javi.
- Nice to meet you. / It’s a pleasure to meet you. (más formal)
2. Origen y lugar donde vives
- I’m from Spain. I grew up in a small town near Valencia.
- I was born in Mexico City, but I live in Monterrey now.
- I’ve been living in Bogotá for five years.
Fíjate en la última: en inglés se usa el present perfect continuous (I’ve been living), no el presente (I live here since…), un error muy frecuente entre hispanohablantes.
3. Trabajo o estudios
- I work as a graphic designer at a small company.
- I’m an accountant.
- I’m a second-year student at the University of Seville. I’m studying Economics.
- I’m currently looking for a job in marketing.
4. Aficiones
- In my free time, I like reading and playing padel.
- I’m really into photography.
- I’m a big fan of Italian food.
5. Cierre
- I’m happy to be part of this class.
- I’m looking forward to working with you.
- What about you? Where are you from?
